Meggan Kehrli | Owner, creative director
I didn't know I was destined to become a designer. Or maybe I did...
I was a creative, imaginative child — a trait my parents and teachers encouraged. My earliest works were volumes of hand-made books filled with drawings of imaginary creatures and architectural floor plans. However, growing up in a household of analytical thinkers I also developed a love of lists and organization. Together, these two factors — intense creativity and a desire for order — lead me to choose graphic design as my career focus. I received my BA in graphic design from the University of Illinois then went on to work at one of Chicago’s most innovative design agencies: Laughing Dog Creative. This foundation helped me to become a detail-oriented designer-illustrator with a keen sense of hierarchy. Now, with my own studio, I am using these skills to help tell stories that are unique, interesting and exact. What's your story? How can I help you tell it?
I enjoy helping others make an impact.
I'm passionate about using my skills to become part of the solution. Being an avid traveler and nature-lover, I enjoy working with companies that promote positive change. Sustainable business and green practices are important to me, and I seek to work with clients who embrace the same principles.
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me sewing hand-bound books, making linoleum block prints, running, biking, or setting off with my sketchbook on a comical misadventure.
